Lukey's Legacy was started by his parents Amy and Joseph Skowronski. Learning that myocarditis was the cause of Lukey's sudden passing is what propelled them to research all they could of this relatively unknown disease. It was not long before they realized that this disease was not as rare as they thought. Their efforts are now focused into bringing myocarditis to the forefront. Their misson is to spare others from the pain they have endured. Through awareness, research, and funding Lukey's Legacy will be saving lives from above.
